{"id":639,"date":"2020-03-16T15:17:41","date_gmt":"2020-03-16T15:17:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/drbezatis.gr\/?page_id=639"},"modified":"2024-07-19T10:31:18","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T10:31:18","slug":"posterior-uveitis","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/drbezatis.gr\/en\/uveitis\/posterior-uveitis","title":{"rendered":"Posterior uveitis"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Posterior uveitis comprises 20% of all uveitis cases and affects the choroid which is the posterior part of the uveal tract.<\/h2>\n<p>Most common causes of posterior uveitis are toxoplasma infections, idiopathic, CMV infections, lupus and sarcoidosis.<\/p>\n<p>Posterior uveitis causes floaters and blurring of vision. It is diagnosed with fundoscopy and angiography of the retina and choroid.
