Entropion is a condition where the eyelid is curling inwards and the eyelashes rub against the globe causing significant pain and redness.<\/h2>\r\nIf left untreated it can lead to corneal ulcers and infections.\r\n\r\nEntropion is most commonly caused by age-related laxity of the eyelid supporting structures. Its correction is surgical and involves tightening of the muscles and the eyelid itself. Surgery is performed under local anesthesia and no scar is visible as the incision is done within the natural skin folds.
